Internet connection

The installation of Windows 10 on this motherboard was very easy and fast. I only found a very minor issue. I had a common Ethernet cable connecting the STRIX Z690 shield's LAN port to my Internet Modem, which works OK with other PCs. However, initially Windows could not "see" any network adapter, and troubleshooting did not help.

A simple check with "Control Panel" and "Device Manager" showed that the Asus Z690 Network Adapter needed a new driver, and no driver provided by Windows 10 would do.

At this point, using another PC, I just downloaded the STRIX Z690 LAN driver, unzipped it into a USB key, inserted it in the new PC, and in Device Manager I was able to install it. Now the Internet worked flawlessly.
