The author
Born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) into an Italian family, Claudio Di Veroli obtained a degree in Mathematics at the University of Buenos Aires, then he moved to England where he pursued research in Statistics at Imperial College London, under the supervision of Prof. Sir David R. Cox.
Having obtained his PhD in London, Di Veroli went back to Buenos Aires to work as an IT consultant, first in two large industrial companies, then in a software development firm.
In 2001 with his wife Betty he relocated to Bray, Rep. of Ireland. In Ireland he was manager in charge of software development for two large companies. He also worked in hardware support for small firms.
After his retirement from company duties more than a decade ago, Di Veroli has continued his activity in PC hardware and software, while also carrying out extensive research in the interpretation of Baroque music, applying advanced scientific and computer tools. His favourably-reviewed books and articles have been endorsed by world-leading specialists.
Since 2015 Claudio and Betty are based in Lucca, Italy. The picture below was taken in August 2023 during a visit to Bray in Ireland.
